Why should I participate?

Your support provides critical resources that nurture the university’s growth and success as a first-class institution. Your gift supports scholarships, academic programs, experiential learning, and/or student life. Publications like US News and World Report measure alumni donor participation when ranking universities. For our alumni, that means making a gift, no matter what size, increases the prestige of a Monmouth education, and therefore the value of your degree in the professional sphere. But Giving Day isn't just for alumni. It takes the collective annual support of alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty, and staff to make the Monmouth experience possible for our current and future Hawks. There is no better day to maximize your impact than on Giving Day, as challenges and matches will help you make the most of your annual gift.

I already gave to Monmouth. Why am I being asked to give again?

Philanthropic support makes a difference in all areas of our campus. We are appreciative of all our current donors, but ask that you consider making a one-time, additional gift to Monmouth University during Giving Day in order to help maximize the impact of matches and challenges. There's a lot to be proud of at Monmouth, and every dollar helps us to create and enhance the educational experience for our students.
