Monmouth Men's Basketball recently completed a competition season that endured numerous challenges and reductions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, our program continued to operate during this challenging academic year and our student-athletes showed remarkable resolve and perseverance both on the playing court and in the classroom. The team captured the MAAC Regular Season Championship and Head Coach King Rice was named MAAC Coach of the Year!
Alongside those successes, the pandemic also brought significant economic and budgetary challenges to all of our collegiate athletics. Important revenue streams such as tickets sales, sponsorships, and disbursements from the NCAA have decreased significantly, while expenses continue to rise.
We hope you can help our Men's Basketball program on Giving Days through a gift to the Blue/White Club. As always, Monmouth University allocates 100% of each Blue/White Club Men's Basketball donation to our Men's Basketball Enhancement Fund. The Fund supports travel, equipment, recruiting, and other necessary resources to grow our program.
